Located at Pioneer Airport directly north of the EAA Aviation Museum, KidVenture encourages youth to explore aviation through many fun activities including getting hands-on with building projects, learning how to fly radio-control and control-line airplanes, experiencing flight simulators, learning aviation and space history, and so much more!
KidVenture is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Buses run throughout the day between the Bus Park and KidVenture and the Museum.
Youths who complete a set of required activities will receive a Future Pilot pin or a Future A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) pin. The first 1,500 kids to complete the required skills will also receive a free toolkit sponsored by Wing Aviation.

NOTE: Electric RC and Control-Line flying is geared to more mature youths, but any age level is allowed to fly once they have mastered the basics. Members of the Northern Aces Air Show Team allow youths to fly their powered model airplanes under their guidance.
Youths can also try their hand at flying both gas-powered and electric-powered airplane control line models with help from Circle Masters Flying Club experts. And you don’t want to miss the daily demonstration air shows as performed by the Circle Masters Flying Club. You have to see it to believe it!
