“I belong to [EAA] Chapters 32 and 331. I like to promote the Young Eagles program and enjoy ultralights and weight-shift control trikes. I have had a lifelong interest in aviation which started in high school with the Civil Air Patrol. Now in my 70s and retired, I am committed to flying. Currently I am working toward a sport pilot certification, and love the resources EAA provides. I would like to offer advice to any aspiring pilots: Do not give up, never quit, do it, and find a way to make it happen. I hope current members promote membership and enter efforts like the sweepstakes. Who knows, you might just win.”
