NOTICE TO AIRVENTURE ATTENDEES
Red Arrows Crowd Line — Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, July 24-26
The Red Arrows jet demonstration team requires an expanded aerobatic box to accommodate their performances during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026, much the same as the Snowbirds did when they performed during AirVenture 2024.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, July 24-26, an expanded aerobatic box will be in effect prior to and during the air shows, requiring a revised crowd line on those days. Only essential, authorized air show personnel are permitted inside the box during the Red Arrows performances. On the east side of the airport, it means that a number of businesses must have their employees leave their property during the Red Arrows performance. On the AirVenture flightline side, it means that a revised crowd line will be in effect for the entire air show on those specific days.
The Red Arrows crowd line will run the entire length of the flightline from Ultralights through Warbirds, in line with the speaker poles, about 120 feet west of the regular crowd burn line.
AirVenture attendees, volunteers, and pilots will have access to the regular flightline until the Red Arrows crowd line goes effect, starting at 1:15 p.m. on Friday, July 24, and Saturday, July 25; and noon on Sunday, July 26. Attendees will not be allowed to leave chairs, blankets, coolers, or other items past the Red Arrows crowd line at any time when in effect.
Limited access for affected aircraft owners parked between the standard flightline and the Red Arrows crowd line will be in effect Friday and Saturday from 1:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 2:30 p.m. Entry will require an escort by EAA security or a flightline volunteer.
There will be no access beyond the Red Arrows crowd line beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday through the conclusion of the air show.
Full access to the flightline will be restored after the completion of the afternoon air shows on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
