AirVenture 2025 Welcomes Back the F-35A!

EAA received word this week that the F-35A Demo Team will be returning to Oshkosh this summer, bringing the power and speed of this Air Force fighter jet to the AirVenture 2025 air shows.

The demo team, based at Hill Air Force Base in Utah, is scheduled to arrive on opening day, July 21, and remain throughout the week. The aircraft will be flown by the team’s commander, Maj. Melanie “MACH” Kluesner, who was also with the airplane at Oshkosh in 2024.

The F-35A Lightning II is the U.S. Air Force’s newest fifth-generation fighter. The Lightning II is a stealthy, multirole, all-weather air-to-air and surface attack fighter. Its exact flight demonstration days will be announced as part of the full AirVenture air show schedule coming soon! EAA’s daily air shows are presented by Daher.
