"Keep 'em Flying": That’s the motto — and the mission — of EAA Warbirds of America, the EAA division that provides programs and services to those interested specifically in former military aircraft.
Seeing a warbird in a museum is a powerful thing, but to experience it with all of the senses is nothing short of awe-inspiring. To see it fly, to hear the roar of the engine and the whistling of the wind over the wings, and, most of all, to fly or even just ride in a warbird is a history lesson brought to life in the most exhilarating way imaginable. That experience reminds us of the sacrifices made by veterans who flew these aircraft in combat in order for us to enjoy the freedoms — not to mention the aircraft — we take for granted today.
Whether you fly, restore, or simply enjoy warbirds and their place in history, we invite you to consider adding Warbirds of America to your EAA membership.
