Get Sheet Metal Savvy with SportAir Workshops
EAA is hosting a series of sheet metal boot camps this fall at the EAA Aviation Center in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, as part of the SportAir Workshops program.
The boot camps are an immersive two-day experience taught by SportAir Workshop director Mark Forss where attendees will receive extensive hands-on practice working with the tools and techniques needed to build a sheet metal airplane.
The course also offers special opportunities for behind the scenes tours at EAA’s Kermit Weeks Flight Operations Center, the EAA AirVenture Museum, and the Sonex Aircraft facilities. Attendees also receive complimentary copies of EAA’s Sheet Metal Building Basics book and Sheet Metal for Kit Aircraft DVD.
Upcoming camps in Oshkosh run September 27-28 and November 1-2.
