Continuing Legal Education Seminars Return to AirVenture 2025

Attorneys attending EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025 are invited to this year’s Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminars hosted by EAA’s Legal Advisory Council and sponsored by Penn State Dickinson Law. This year, three CLE sessions will be held in the Vette Theater within the EAA Aviation Museum. The sessions will be led by Prof. Ronnie Gipson, who serves as the chair of the Legal Advisory Council.

The schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, July 22: 2:30-3:30 p.m.

“Lessons Learned from an Aviation Tort Trial,” by Don Andersen

Friday, July 25: 8:30-9:30 a.m.

“A Review of the NTSB ALJ’s Docket,” by NTSB Staff Attorney Chad Mayer

Friday, July 25: 9:45-10:45 a.m.

“Best Practices Before the NTSB,” by NTSB Acting Chief Administrative Law Judge Stuart Couch and NTSB Administrative Law Judge Darrell Fun

The hour-long seminars comply with CLE requirements in most states and are free of charge to AirVenture attendees. Like previous years, advanced registration is strongly encouraged due to space constraints.

If you are an attorney interested in attending and would like more information or to register for one or more sessions, please contact Jane Smith at jsmith@eaa.org by Friday, July 18, 2025.
