Admissions South Knapp
Position Overview:
The admissions gate located on South Knapp is looking for outgoing individuals who enjoy meeting new people and working in a dynamic environment. As an admissions volunteer, you will be responsible for selling admission tickets, memberships, and programs while providing exceptional service to our attendees.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist attendees with a positive and welcoming attitude.
- Sell admission tickets, memberships, and programs.
- Handle cash transactions, make change, and process credit/debit card payments.
- Check for membership credentials.
- Keep the area stocked with wristbands, programs, maps, and schedules.
- Provide information and directions within the event venue.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees.
- Collaborate with other volunteers and staff to maintain smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- A friendly and approachable demeanor
- Patience and the ability to handle diverse situations with a calm and positive attitude.
- Flexibility and willingness to assist with different tasks as needed.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions

Admissions Museum Lobby
Admission Volunteers greet and welcome EAA AirVenture attendees as they sell admission, renew memberships, and helping attendees with their AirVenture questions.
Volunteers will be trained to use the computerized registration system, how to sign up new members, process online purchases, hand out wristbands, and answer questions utilizing information guides.
At times, this can be a fast-paced work environment. It requires working with computers, cash registers, scanning devices, and a friendly disposition when helping customers.

AeroEducate Center
AeroEducate is an EAA youth aviation education program, and we will be running activities and presentations for teen-aged youth each day in the AeroEducate Center, located in Aviation Gateway Park.
Volunteers will be on hand to:
- Greet visitors and answer questions about AeroEducate (training will be provided)
- Support transitions between forums and activities
- Assist with youth activities, as needed
Volunteer Requirements:
- Enjoy helping people and inspiring youth to explore aviation.
- A positive, customer-focused mindset.
- Pass EAA’s Youth Protection Training and Background Check.
- Reasonably good health (4.5 hours shifts, mainly on your feet)
Other Information:
- Webinar-based training will be provided, along with a reference manual on site to assist all volunteers.
- Two shifts per day (Sunday, July 20 – Sunday, July 27)
- 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 noon
- 12:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

AviationTech
AviationTech is a hands-on STEM immersion activity open to middle and high school students. Participants use coding, soldering, and CAD-designed components to build a limited edition AirVenture souvenir.
Volunteers will be on hand to:
- Assist with registration and check-in
- Convene participants at the start of each session
- Hand out swag and snacks when participants complete activity
- Volunteers with experience in soldering or Arduino C++ coding will help in those activity sessions
Volunteer requirements:
- Enjoy helping youth and engaging them in conversation
- Pass EAA’s Youth Protection Training and Background Check
- Available for entire shift (8:00 AM to 1:30 PM) on one or both days
Other information:
AviationTech takes place in EAA’s Youth Education Center (Air Conditioned) on Tuesday July 23, and Thursday July 25 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Volunteers will need to arrive by 8:00 AM for instruction in their assigned roles.
Parking passes, daily wristband, and lunch will be provided.

Exhibits Team
Exhibit Hangar Attendants are needed July 21 through July 27.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring the cleanliness of the hangar and its Exhibitor Lounge during hangar hours of operations and report any issues to the Indoor Exhibits Chairman and Co-Chairman.
- Maintain the coffee location within the Exhibitor Lounge by brewing coffee and restocking supplies when needed.
- Assist with any emergency communications to the exhibitors within your assigned hangar per the direction of EAA’s Exhibit Manager or Coordinator.
Available Shifts July 21-27
- 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM
- 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM
*Must complete 40 hours of volunteer service to qualify for free camping at AirVenture the following year.

First Aid
First Aid has two buildings and is looking for doctors and registered nurses interested in volunteering a couple of shifts. This year we have openings from Saturday, July 20th through Sunday, July 27th. Shifts are 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
We triage minor injuries and illnesses along with doing a few blood pressure checks. We have one building we staff in Camp Scholler and one near the Air Traffic Control Tower.
Volunteer Requirements:
- License required.
- Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, EMTs, Paramedics and Registered Nurses.
- We do not take Physician Assistants.
- A positive, team-oriented, customer-focused mindset.
- Great teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.

Forums
The Forums area has two teams, Forums Information and Forum Hosts. We manage the stages in the Forums area welcoming and supporting the speakers.
Our Forum Hosts welcome the guest speakers and monitor the audio and video systems for issues, plus take statistics for each forum. Our Forums Information team troubleshoots issues and provides information to guests.
- Customer service skills are required.
- Basic IT and audio-video skills are a plus for the Forums Information team.
Our teams work closely together in a long-time partnership and offer opportunity for growth.

You may pick the forums you would like to attend and get volunteer credit for working them. There are no set times for your volunteering, allowing you time to attend other activities.

Forum Hosts
Volunteering with Forum Hosts allows a volunteer to accumulate hours while helping others and attending fascinating forums in aviation history, new technology and innovations, amazing stories, and much more!
There are no special skills required, just a friendly smile and willingness to help others.
Forum Hosts volunteers:
1) introduce ourselves to presenters as volunteers
2) verify audio & video systems are functioning correctly
3) render assistance if issues arise or send for technical help
4) fill out evaluation form including attendance
5) pick up trash and straighten chairs at the end of presentations
You can volunteer as much or as little as you wish. Volunteers that work for 20 plus hours during Airventure will receive a free week wristband for NEXT years AirVenture. We generally have openings for volunteers throughout the week, especially later in the week.
To volunteer with us, just show up at the Forums Office (small metal octagonal building in center of Forums Plaza) and ask tor “Forums Hosts". You'll be introduced to me or one of my Co-Chairs and we will give you a short briefing, show you available forums that you can cover, and you'll be ready to go.

International Federal Pavilion
The Federal Pavilion, now in its 33rd year at AirVenture, is home to all Federal Government agencies of the US, Canada, and the Bahamas, except NASA and the FAA. 2025 agencies include the National Park Service, TSA, NORAD, SARSAT, FBI, Islands of the Bahamas and others. The agencies present a wide range of services and information to the general aviation community and EAA members.
Wright Flyer Simulator:
Volunteers, working with other volunteers, will help the National Park Service with the operation of the 1903 Wright Flyer simulator. Duties include explaining how to use the simulator, assisting users in getting into and out of the simulator, and explaining how the simulator replicates the Wright Brothers successful 1903 flight. Volunteers are needed for the 0900-1300 and 1300-1700 shifts daily.
Volunteers should possess a desire to assist EAA members in using the popular Wright Flyer simulator, standing for up to an hour at a time, interest in the Wright Brothers and able to communicate their story to EAA members, ability to turn desktop computer and large screen TV monitor on/off, ability to work as a team with other volunteers.
Jr. Ranger:
Volunteers, working with Park Service staff, will guide youth and their parents in the completion of a variety of aviation related activities. Upon successful completion of the activities, will provide the youth with a National Park Service Junior Ranger badge. Volunteers are needed daily for 0930-1200 and 1200-1500 shifts.
Volunteers require a desire to work with youth and guide them through a range of STEM based aviation activities, and a strong ability to communicate with youth and their parents. A basic knowledge of aircraft and principles of flight is helpful but not required.
Both are indoor opportunities, inside Hangar D. Lunch is provided.

Lifetime Member Oasis

Pre-AirVenture Week
Look forward to Oshkosh this year! Earn volunteer hours prior to the event. Help us prepare the Lifetime Member Oasis the week prior to AirVenture. This building is air conditioned! For the 7 -10 days prior to AirVenture we will be cleaning inside and out. Many hands make it light work!
There is some lifting involved. Duties will include sweeping, vacuuming, window cleaning, setting up chairs and tables, moving furniture, and other general maintenance. We will help to set up the mini store area so staff can bring in products. Some outside duties include setting up tables, chairs, umbrellas, etc.
AirVenture Week
Volunteer in an air condition environment while you meet and greet Lifetime Members and sign-up new ones. You will be registering new members in the database, preparing and managing the guest areas inside and outside, and serving beverages and snacks.
Computer skills are a plus for the registration system. Serving and lifting nonalcoholic beverages, and all-around good customer service skills are a must. We need 21 individuals for each shift and there are 2 shifts per day.
This is a great place to volunteer! All customer service focused. Friendly, clean and cool. We have a great time serving our fellow members!
Lost & Found
The AirVenture Lost & Found is where lost items should be reported and found items are turned in. Our volunteers strive to reunite lost property with its rightful owner. Located just east of Convention Headquarters at 3127 Knapp Street, the Lost & Found is open during the week of AirVenture.
Volunteer Requirements:
- Passionate and energetic about helping people find their lost belongings
- Positive, team-oriented, customer focused mindset
- Ability to collect, store, sort, organize, and catalog lost & found items
- Reasonably good health, able to stand, bend, sit, and lift
- Willing to have in-person conversations with visitors who may be emotional at times
- Basic understanding of computer data entry
- Pass EAA’s Youth Protection Training and Background Check.
We have three regular volunteer shifts per day, plus another during the night air shows.
- 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
- 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Wednesday and Saturday nights only

Museum Counter
We would like to have individuals during Airventure count the number of visitors to the EAA Aviation Museum.
- The museum is open from 8:00 AM to 6 PM.
- We have three shifts per day starting on Saturday, July 19, 2025 through Sunday, July 27, 2025. Shifts run from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM, 11 AM to 3 PM, and 2:30 PM to 6PM.
- There are two counter positions per shift (upper and lower).
- Responsibilities include counting each individual that enters the museum and recording that information on an hourly basis.
- Donuts in the morning and lunches are provided.

Pre-AirVenture - Youth Program Preparations
Join us in supporting AirVenture youth programs by helping prepare materials for hands-on activities and giveaways!
Volunteers will assist with unwrapping and organizing ordered materials, assembling activity kits, and ensuring everything is ready for young aviation enthusiasts to learn and explore.
No special skills are required—just a willingness to help and a passion for inspiring the next generation!
We are looking for volunteers Monday-Friday between June 2nd and July 19th. Hours are flexible.

The South 40 Flight Line Operations team is expanding again this year, and we have openings for the following positions:
Aircraft Parkers & Marshallers
This is a special opportunity to join a new and growing volunteer team. You can be one of the first people to say, "Welcome to Oshkosh!" to pilots flying in from all over the world! No experience necessary! We'll teach you all you need to know.

The Gathering
Thursday, July 24 3:30pm-11pm
The Gathering is EAA’s largest fundraising gala of the year with almost 1,000 people in attendance to experience a sit-down dinner with a live and silent auction. The event helps raise money and awareness for EAA and its various programs, including education, safety, and advocacy programs.
We are looking for volunteers to help during the event, as well as the day before and after for set-up and clean-up.
Roles Available:
- Tablescape set-up and Auction Set-up
- Event Registration
- Live or Silent auction assistance
- Table concierge- interact with guests, serve drinks, answer questions
- Event clean-up

Trams/On-Site Shuttles
Be a part of our on-site shuttle team! We are looking for volunteers for the afternoon shift. It’s a great opportunity to see the grounds and interact with attendees from all over the world! We are in need of individuals to welcome all attendees in a friendly, positive manner.
Positions available (afternoon shifts only):
- Drivers: Operate tractor safely while pulling trams. Ability to drive a tractor. Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Conductors: Announce stops and nearby attractions. Act as observer for the driver. Good communication skills. Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Safety Personnel: Assist with loading and unloading of passengers, including assisting those with mobility disabilities by putting ramps into place, when necessary. Answer questions and direct riders to the proper area for loading, unloading and staging. Must be 18 years of age or older.

Ultralight / Light Plane Fun Fly Zone
The Fun Fly Zone is a fly-in within the FLY-IN. We host aircraft from the Light Sport, Experimental and Ultralight categories and have daily runway operations on our beautiful grass runway.
We also support EAA AirVenture Admission, Merchandise sales, Aircraft Registrations, a Swap Shop, Volunteer Coordination, Exhibits and Aircraft Parking.
The Fun Fly Zone Operations teams are looking for new volunteers to help in either pre-convention (week prior to convention), during convention, or post-convention (last day tear-down), one or more of the following positions:
- Red Barn Admission Sales, Aircraft Registration and Customer Service
- Active Runway Operations Support
- Aircraft Parking / Towing / Marshalling
- Swap Shop Sales
- Forums
- Workshop Tent Support
- Maintenance
- General set-up and tear-down
No experience necessary! We'll teach you all you need to know.

WomenVenture Center Support Team:
Assist with t-shirt distribution Monday – Wednesday and serve as general hosts and assistants for activities taking place in the tent. These activities include forums inside the WVC, answering visitor questions, evening events including the Monday Ice Cream Social, Author's Corner Day, and more. Thursday - Sunday the EAA booth will host a Learn-to-Pop-Rivet board plus several other activities. Additional activities may be added to the schedule as AirVenture draws closer.
WomenVenture Center Forums Assistant:
Support the WomenVenture Center forums operation by ensuring the forum speakers can connect to audio/visual equipment for their presentations, introduce speakers, time presentations to ensure transitions from one speaker to another stay on schedule, address issues or needs that may arise by flagging WVC leadership for support when needed.
Photo & Power Lunch Assistant:
Support the WomenVenture photo on Boeing Plaza, check-in attendees and support Theater in the Woods set-up and transition as needed, and support take-down after the Power Lunch concludes. Lunch will be free for volunteers, of course!
Youth Welcome Center
The Youth Welcome Center at EAA Four Corners welcomes families and all visitors to participate in fun aviation activities, learn about youth programs on the AirVenture grounds, and explore EAA’s youth education opportunities.
Volunteers will be on hand to:
- Assist with simple youth activities like a cockpit photo station, build-your-own keychain using rivets, and a “Mark Your Hometown” map activity.
- Share resources with youth to explore aviation including youth activities happening on the AirVenture grounds, EAA’s youth programming, Young Eagles, AeroEducate, and more!
Volunteer Requirements:
- Enjoy helping people and inspiring youth to explore aviation.
- A positive, customer-focused mindset.
- Pass EAA’s Youth Protection Training and Background Check.
- Reasonably good health (4.5 hours shifts, mainly on your feet).
