Venues
Choose from a diverse selection of indoor and outdoor venues perfect for your dream event.
From formal corporate events to casual meetings, EAA’s unique atmosphere offers a one-of-a-kind experience. With more than 1,600 acres and a variety of venues to choose from, we are sure to show you a space that will make your vision a reality.
If you appreciate aviation heritage and culture, consider hosting your event in the historic Founders’ Wing. It features a spacious main floor to accommodate up to 400 people, as well as an intimate mezzanine level where guests can enjoy viewing the EAA Legacy Wall and Founders’ Library while overlooking artwork and suspended aircraft. Our events team can even provide options for hosting breakout sessions in other smaller venues near the Founders’ Wing if needed.
If an impressive video presentation is in your plan, the Vette Theater is an amphitheater with all the audiovisual equipment you’ll need. Amenities include a private entrance and comfortable seating for up to 116, with each seat featuring a slide-away writing surface, making it perfect for meetings that require note taking.
For smaller business meetings, consider the Conference Center Boardroom or Batten Boardroom. The Conference Center Boardroom is located on the lower level of the new EAA Education Center and is equipped with state-of-the-art videoconferencing equipment, perfect for utilizing web-based programs such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams. The Batten Boardroom is located on the lower level of the EAA Aviation Center and not only offers full technology capabilities, but it also features an in-room fieldstone fireplace that lends lodge-like warmth and comfort.
With internet connections and leading-edge technology, the Conference Center Rooms are perfect for presentations and meetings. The Conference Center can be booked in its entirety as one space or can be divided into smaller rooms, depending on your group’s size and needs.
Looking for the next location for a team outing or corporate retreat? The EAA Air Academy Lodge is complete with 16 guest rooms (12 bunkrooms and 4 suites), a great room, kitchen (for caterer use only), dining room, classrooms, conference rooms, library, fireplace, pool, foosball and ping pong tables, and outdoor facilities, including an outdoor gazebo with fire pit. The rooms noted below make for great meeting and activity areas within the Air Academy Lodge.
Looking to host an after-hours cocktail hour or banquet? The EAA Aviation Museum proudly showcases more than 100 aircraft and galleries that provide a unique backdrop for your celebration. Our largest, and perhaps most visually impressive, space within the museum is the Eagle Hangar. Home to restored military aircraft, it creates a nostalgic atmosphere for your event.
