Runway 5K returns to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025
EAA AVIATION CENTER, OSHKOSH, Wisconsin — (June 11, 2025) — Experience the world’s busiest airport from a different perspective. The popular 5K run/walk will occur during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025 on Saturday, July 26. The 5K starts at 6:30 a.m. at the Youth Education Center, adjacent to the EAA Aviation Museum. This event welcomes everyone, from casual walkers to experienced athletes.
This year's 5K will feature a new route that tours the AirVenture grounds. Attendees can enjoy the sunrise above evergreen trees and breathe in the morning air while running or walking among unique and remarkable aircraft. The proceeds from this year’s run will support the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department K9 Unit.
Registration for the 5K is open through the morning of the run/walk. Attendees must register through the EAA website. Attendees have an option of purchasing registration for the Runway 5K and July 26 AirVenture admission, or for the run/walk only. Free parking is available in the Brown lot, located across from the EAA museum.
Through June 19, early bird discounts are available online for admission to the 5K and the July 26 AirVenture daily activities. The registration includes a medal, a T-shirt, post-race food, refreshments, and access to shower facilities.
