Joe spent 33 years in the aviation industry. He was President of Hartzell Propeller and COO of Tailwind Technologies, Inc., a holding company that owns Hartzell Propeller and Hartzell Engine Technologies.
A lifetime member of EAA and AOPA, Joe is a past chairman of General Aviation Manufacturers Association and supports the Recreational Aviation Foundation. Joe is an instrument rated pilot with 6,500 hours. He flies a TBM, Cessna 185 and Glasair Sportsman.
Joe is a graduate of Middlebury College.
