Ben Diachun
Ben Diachun is an aerospace innovator with 25 years of experience developing pioneering aircraft and spacecraft. As former president of Scaled Composites, CEO of Pivotal, and CTO at Supernal (part of Hyundai Motor Group), he has performed key roles in designing and building 17 revolutionary vehicles, including SpaceShipOne, the first commercial manned spaceship; Stratolaunch, the world's largest composite airplane; and BlackFly, an electric personal air vehicle.
He now leads Diachun Aero, a strategic consulting firm focused on advancing aerospace innovation. In addition to serving on the board of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), Ben is a Commercial Pilot with Instrument, Multi-Engine and Seaplane Ratings, and holds engineering degrees from Purdue and Stanford Universities.
His contributions to aviation have earned him numerous industry honors, including being part of a Collier Trophy-winning team and recognition as a Distinguished Engineering Alumnus from Purdue.
