EAA Aviation Foundation Scholarship Application Now Open
By EAA Staff
Applications are now open for the 2025-26 cycle of EAA Aviation Foundation scholarships. Students can apply online through the EAA website. The deadline to apply is December 19, with the scholarships being awarded on March 2, 2026. The application window opens a month earlier this year to allow for the winners to get an earlier start on their flight training.
Scholarships can help students cover the cost of flight training or post-secondary education. For flight training, this can cover costs associated with a glider certificate, private pilot certificate, sport pilot certificate, flight ratings, and endorsements. Post-secondary scholarships can be applied to tuition costs at colleges, universities, or trade schools, for majors such as aviation management, aerospace engineering, airframe and powerplant (A&P) maintenance, and more. With the help of donors, the EAA Aviation Foundation awarded scholarships to 84 students in 2025 to help them pursue flight training or post-secondary education.
“Scholarships are the key to many students being able to turn their passion into a career,” said Rebecca Greskoviak, EAA’s scholarship and fund stewardship coordinator. “Our goal is to remove the financial barriers to entry, to ensure that all students, regardless of financial background, have the ability to pursue their dreams in aviation.”
Scholarships are available to students aged 16 and up. Students must reach age 16 by the time of awarding, March 2, 2026. More information about EAA Aviation Foundation scholarships is available at EAA.org/scholarships.
