Young Eagles Flights
Free, introductory flights for youths ages 8-17.
Your visit to the EAA Aviation Museum isn’t complete until you go on a brief trip of your own in an airplane departing from Pioneer Airport and its plush grass runway.
Flight reservations are generally not made in advance. Flights are sold day of at Pioneer Airport and passengers assigned to the next available flight. There is often instant availability, and waiting times are very rarely more than 45 minutes.
Anyone under the age of 18 is required to have a waiver form co-signed by their parent or legal guardian. This is true for Young Eagles flights as well as vintage aircraft flights.
Airplane rides are dependent on weather conditions and volunteer pilot availability. Please call the museum at 920-426-4818 after 10:30 a.m. on the day you’re planning to visit to confirm flight operations.
